"Eurotary 87 is an association of Rotary clubs in Europe, all chartered in
1987. In 1992 the Rotary Club of Gordes, initiated the first meeting, held in a
beautiful part of France. The meeting was a true success, and the clubs decided
to arrange a meeting at the same time every year.

The annual assembly of Eurotary 87 is essentially a social event for Rotarians
and their partners, held over three days. Each year it takes place in a
different country, voluntarily hosted by one of the member clubs.

We try to keep formalities to a minimum, and concentrate on good fellowship,
meeting new friends and renewing previous acquaintances and having a good
time. Rotarians' partners are an important part of Eurotary 87 and are
encouraged to play a full part in the events.

|
The AGM on the final morning is mainly to ensure that Eurotary 87 continues to
move forward and develop, and to agree future assemblies. We often agree
to support one of the Rotary projects proposed by the host club. Eurotary
87 clubs wishing to host future meetings should present their proposals at the
AGM. Any member club wishing to have an item on the agenda of the
AGM should email their request to the host club in advance of the meeting.
